seg carries the audience a sensor-equipped device currently detects, inline on the /v1alpha2/ads request, so the server selects flights for that audience. Basket signals use products; the shared rules under When signals apply govern both.

How seg is interpreted depends on the device’s demographic sensor:

• SENSOR_DEMOGRAPHICS — seg values are read as IAB segment ids directly. Start here for the seg grammar and validation.
• SENSOR_ADVERTIMA — seg carries Advertima’s own segment ids, which the exchange maps to IAB.
